For the better part of the last six months, Alberdaine had been at war with Abisnova, a small kingdom that was part of the Felidaes, the remnants of the old feline Felix Empire. The local felix warlord had died and was succeeded by his ambitious daughter, who declared war against the squirrelking and invaded Alberdaine.
